Best Polymer Producers Awards cancelled
The Polymers for Europe Alliance has suspended the online voting by converters on the leading European plastics producers due to exceptional “market turbulence” – a situation never experienced before – which is causing serious issues regarding the availability, costs and price volatility of polymers. The organisers, including EuPC, believe that the current market instability makes it impossible to formulate a balanced assessment of suppliers’ performance, as required under the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2026. Further details will be provided at the EuPC Annual General Meeting, scheduled for 2 June. Launched in 2016 by EuPC’s Polymers for Europe Alliance, the Polymer Producers Awards aim to establish constructive dialogue and good communication between polymer suppliers and users in Europe.
